The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Inpatient / IMC Unit (Zayed 11 West) is a 32-bed surgical unit caring for adolescent and adult patients. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and 6 intermediate care beds. Care and services provided: Thoracic Surgery (lung resections, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy), Urology (RRP, TURP), and a variety of general surgery patients.

Shifts: Night Shifts

Qualifications:

- CNA certified with MBON;

- Your license must show on the MBON with an Active status. Pending or Non-Renewed licenses will need to be updated before you can move forward in the process.

- Active CPR Card;

- At least 6 months of CNA experience

Work Experience:

- At least 6 months experience as a nurse's aide in a hospital or nursing home is required.

- Six (6) months experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

- Prefer previous nurse's aide or CNA experience or enrollment in an RN program.

- Active Maryland Driver's license preferred.
