What you’ll do :
- As the Manager of Quality Assurance, you are responsible for ensuring adherence to high-quality standards through effective Quality Assurance (QA) practices and oversight.
- You’ll develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure successful completion of monthly audits for all internal stakeholders in various departments including Customer Service, Advantage MD, Provider Maintenance, Utilization Management, Care Management, Appeals, and other Operations and Health Services teams.
- Communicate quality standards and parameters, address all customer feedback, collaborate cross-functionally, analyze data, and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
- Support Clinical QA Analysts, serving as leader and coach and providing regular guidance and feedback on performance while motivating staff to achieve superior results.
- Assist the Sr. Director in ensuring a consistent experience for all teams receiving support from the department.
What you’ll bring:
- Current RN licensure in the state of MD (or multi-state compact license).
- 5 years in acute healthcare and managed care. Must be well versed in NCQA, CMS, and State Mandated Quality Measures.
- 2 years of knowledge and experience in utilization management, medical necessity review, and clinical documentation with quality auditing experience required.
- 3 years of supervisory or management experience required
