Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize customer provided drawings and specifications along with the included route sheet to
- Ensure assembly detail parts are processed at the correct quantities.
- Ensure components cosmetically meet customer provided drawings and specifications.
- Ensure components dimensions meet customer provided drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all production processes have been completed as required.
- Ensure all material traceability documents (MTR) meet customer provided specifications.
- Ensure part marking is complete and accurate per customer’s requirements.
- Ensure packaging meets or exceeds customer’s specifications.
- Ensure calibration of inspection tools and equipment is up-to-date.
- Complete internal and external non-conformance reports as required.
- Perform offsite supplier First Article Inspections (FAI) and Final Inspections as
- Audit external suppliers to ensure that quality program meets requirements.
- Keep work station clean and organized
Qualifications/Skills:
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytic skills
- Documentation skills
- Reporting skills
- Blueprint reading
Experience Required
- High school diploma
- Experience with quality control
- Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers,and other measuring
- One to two years’ quality inspector experience
