- Issue tools, consumables, equipment or parts to workers and maintain records of issued and returned.
- Locate lost or misplaced tools, equipment, and parts.
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools, equipment or parts, and requisition stock to replenish inventory.
- Input all required data into business operations software, purchasing, and receiving process requirements.
- Inspect tools, equipment or parts for defects and wear and report damage or wear to supervisors.
- Mark and identify tools, equipment, and parts using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
- Keep all parts clean and orderly in the proper locations.
- Perform clerical activities as directed by manager.
- Maintain records of tools issued to employees.
- Take periodic inventory and requisition stock as required to meet SOP requirements.
- Participate actively in team meetings.
- Deliver tools or equipment to workers either manually or using hand truck.
- Make simple repairs, service, and lubricate small tools as required.
- Inspect lifting devices and send for repair or replace as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, tool crib, and storeroom.
- Other duties may be assigned.
