Summary of Position:

The Associate Systems Analyst will assist the IT team with systems implementation and administration, software development projects, data mapping, asset configuration/deployment and tracking, and various other IT activities as assigned. Our company has pushed most of its infrastructure and business operations into the cloud to remain competitive and provide global support to our associates and customers, and our IT group is leading this effort. The best candidates will have some exposure to data and software development concepts, including distributed computing environments, and be comfortable with desktop and mobile infrastructure.

• Assist with the development/design of cloud-based software, including web service APIs
• Analyze data and generate source-to-target mapping documentation
• Work with operations to develop business rules for B2B interfaces and data mapping projects
• Lead technical point-of-contact for transformational and growth projects
• Assist in the development of functional and design specifications for work with 3rd party systems
• Develop SQL database queries and functions
• Document and Report customization
• Configure and deploy laptops
• Provide desktop support to staff

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and create XML and XSD documents.
• Experience coding – ideally in Java, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of RESTful web services and JSON.
• Basic understanding of SQL database structures and SQL statements.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows – ability to troubleshoot and provide desktop support.
• Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college courses in Computer Science/IT are preferred.
