Accounts Receivable/Job Cost Specialist

Job Requirements:

• Accounting/Business degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Accounting Systems.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• 2 years of construction accounting experience.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to interface with office staff, project owners, general contractors and suppliers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Review all project contracts to be familiar with billing terms and procedures.
• Set up project budgets and schedule of values.
• Approve and enter change orders for billing and job cost.
• Generate all billing ~ both contract (AIA G702/703 Forms) and extras (Time and Material).
• Collection follow-ups and tracking.
• Cross‐train in payroll and accounts payable positions.
• Create/prepare any special reports as required by management or customers.
