In your role, you will have the skills to successfully work with your assigned machinery, you will think on your feet, make quick decisions when needed, and will have an amazing detail to ensure no machinery issues go unnoticed.

As an ideal candidate you will be able to:

• Maintain multiple complex machines or multiple machine lines with minimum supervision.
• Lead responsibility for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following current good manufacturing practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures established for health and workplace safety.
• Follow work orders, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning weights, packs, descriptions, dates, UPC’s, cleanup and changeovers.
• Load product into hopper and monitor scales and/or other support equipment.
• Perform quality control and material waste checks and collect downtime data and other performance data as required.
• Troubleshoot/resolve problems and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency/quality is highly being maintained.
• Coordinate, take accountability and partner up to find scalable solutions for the work being performed by the employees assigned to the line.
• Track performance data when assigned.
• Communicate exceptions and work both with teammates and leadership to recommend and execute solutions.

You will have the following requirements and skills:

• Proven experience as a skilled machine operator
• Ability to test operation of machines periodically; check output to spot any machine related mistakes or flaws.
• Have a keen awareness and ability to fix issues that might occur during the shift.
• Understanding of production procedures
• Ability to read schematics and manuals.
• Analytical skills
• Physical stamina and strength.

Pay: $19.35 - $24.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
