Johann Prosthetics of Boulder is Hiring a Dental Front Office/Communications Coordinator Near Boulder, CO

About us

We are a Privately owned , referral based Prosthodontic practice in Boulder, CO. We have had a thriving practice for over 25 years and are seeking a dynamic Communications Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Reception: Greet patients as they arrive, check them in, and direct them to appropriate areas within the dental office.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Manage the scheduling of patient appointments using Eaglesoft dental software.
  • Referral Relationships: Compose letters to referring dentists interact with office managers/staff, coordinate appointments for patients with other specialty offices.
  • Billing and Payments: Process payments, and assist patients with insurance claims and billing inquiries.
  • Office Administration: Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, emailing.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, treatment progression and other necessary information.
  • Problem Solving: Address patient and referral office concerns and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of our dental team, including dentists, assistants, and our referral offices to provide a seamless, positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer Service: A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing high-quality service and care to patients.
  • Technical Proficiency: Above average Proficiency with Microsoft computer systems and knowledge of Eaglesoft dental software for scheduling and communication.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, including during interactions with patients and colleagues.
  • Confidentiality: Respect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding the handling of patient information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
