Joel Isaacson & Co. is Hiring an Advisor Associate Near New York, NY

Job Summary

Support the day-to-day management of client accounts and the overall financial planning and tax return preparation process. Play an active role in client meetings and communications. Manage the daily processes around the firm’s portfolio accounting and performance reporting systems. Advisor Associates are also expected to identify new client opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare all materials necessary for client meetings including performance reports and planning summaries

· Manage the overall information flow into performance reporting system

· Consistently monitor clients’ custodial accounts (e.g. Schwab, Fidelity, etc…) and report results/recommendations to senior staff

· Prepare individual tax returns for clients

· Serve as first point-of-contact for client requests

· Identify new business development opportunities and assist in the closing process

· Build and expand professional and personal networks to be used for business development

· Manage and seek opportunities to improve certain firm-wide business processes that may be specified by the Partners

Qualifications

The Advisor Associate position typically requires the following qualifications:

· Working knowledge of firm’s systems and processes

· Ability to prepare individual and trust tax returns

· Ability to research and present findings on new planning opportunities

· Client first attitude

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

· CFP, CPA/PFS and/or CFA are strongly encouraged

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Portfolio Center, as well as PROfx and BNA,

· Excellent communication and listening skills

· Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
