Who YOU are

You are a detail-oriented, dedicated, and accountable person. You possess a high level of work safety behaviors, technical skills, organizational skills, excellent time management, solid communication skills, and a capable multi-tasker. Attendance is vital! Normal schedule is Monday through Friday but some weekend work is required and we ask our team to be flexible to get the job done.

Showing up on time every day, truly caring about your work, offering your help to other teams, and quickly learning each role will be vital to your success.

What does the Quality Technician do?
Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to operations

Documents inspections results by completing reports and logs and inputs data into database

Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements

Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)
● Safety: Works in a clean, safe manner. Responsible for Food Safety and GMP compliance

● Quality: Responsible for identifying and eliminating quality issues

● Productivity: Actively drives to improve quality in facility

● Technical: Always improving and applying new technical skills

● Teamwork: Encourages a positive work environment with coworkers

Results (Expected Accomplishments)
● Safety: Zero safety incidents

● Quality: No customer complaints

● Productivity: 75% OEE

● Technical: Complete working knowledge of operating equipment at a high level

● Teamwork: Actively working with team to realize team goals

● Advanced: Show leadership, advanced technical skills, learn multiple packaging lines

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)
● High School education

● 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred)\

● Strong troubleshooting skills

● Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail

● Simple math skills. Able to pass aptitude test

● Able to effectively communicate with team and Supervisor

● Physically capable of standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs

● Able to work flexible schedule of days, nights, and weekends

● Has desire to help others and looks for opportunities to help others

● Positive attitude and works well in a team environment

● Excellent attendance record

● Self-motivated, detailed-oriented
