Job Description:

JRJ Construction is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Superintendent to join our team in Weatherford, TX. As a Superintendent, you will oversee the successful execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety standards, and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and a proven track record of effectively managing construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Documentation:

• Maintain detailed daily documentation of construction activities, including progress reports, site conditions, and workforce productivity

Subcontractor Management:

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during subcontractor activities.

Driving Schedule:

• Develop and enforce project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track.

Safety of Job Site:

• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.

Managing Project Expenses:

• Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or safety.

Communication Skills:

• Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Leadership:

• Lead and motivate on-site construction teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to facilitate their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
