Production Worker- Job Description
On Bus route from Reading.
JOB SUMMARY and KEY OBJECTIVES
Perform a variety of duties related to the raising and processing of ducks. May work in various areas of the process as directed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS (Tasks include but are not limited to):
- Processing ducks.
- Deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, inspecting, feather room etc.
- May work in all positions as needed and other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Must adhere to Company policies and procedures
- Perform job duties according standards set for safety, quality and processing speeds.
- Although typically assigned a single department, production and staffing needs will dictate periodic changes.
- Must, and at all times, follow all animal welfare and safety policies.
PHYSICAL
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. continuously. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, crouch, for long periods.
