Maintenance Utility

Pay: Up to $20hr based on experience

**Entry Level Position**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

•  Perform Preventative Maintenance when issued.
• Troubleshoot and correct issue as they arise to any equipment (Incubators, hatchers, nova-tech etc.)
• Maintain inventory parts to keep equipment preserved and working properly.
• Maintain and perform PM exhaust fans for Egg Washroom, RO Water system, incubators, etc.
• Perform general building maintenance, maintaining generator, lighting, electrical, plumbing, heating, etc.
• Answer alarms on assigned shifts.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
• Report any animal welfare related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Degree / certification from technical school or 3 years of production maintenance experience required
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, preferred, and electrical, preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively through speaking, writing, and reading.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of animal welfare and GMP practices is required.
• Ability to independently make decisions with minimum supervision.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Basic personal computer skills: knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to satisfy all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
• Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
