JOE HUDSON'S COLLISION CENTER is Hiring a Collision Estimator Near Danville, VA

Estimator

Hourly pay ($20-30/h) Quarterly Production Bonus of up to $4.5k - $9k ($18k - $36k / YR)

***401k starts on day 1, Benefits are available after 1 month of employment.

Yearly Potential of $60k - $111k

Responsible for the full estimating and repair process ensuring quality repairs are made based on detailed instructions provided, which meet our OE and I-CAR standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Write concise and accurate estimates.
  • Coordinate all check-ins and deliveries.
  • Review process with the customer.
  • Complete all repair orders ensuring DRP compliance and obtaining proper authorizations.
  • Provide a complete and correct listing of all necessary parts for ordering related to a repair.
  • Check-in vehicle upon drop off from customer.
  • Prepare and ensure completion of the proper paperwork for the customer packet.
  • Provide communication, including all vehicle repair statuses.
  • Comply with all JHCC safety rules, guidelines, and standards.
  • Document all communication with customers in the system.
  • Total loss administration.
  • Perform final quality checks on finished vehicles.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong auto collision industry experience required
  • Must have demonstrated strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Able to communicate effectively both in-person, orally, and through written correspondence and presentation with candidates, employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high volume of activity.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Willingness to travel to JHCC locations as required or directed by leadership.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Prior collision industry experience required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of prior estimating experience are required.
  • Prior experience working with CCCOne preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to work consistently in between a climate-controlled, professional office environment and a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
  • Requires long periods of sitting or standing depending on daily workflow.
  • Requires the use of standard office equipment (i.e., computer, copier, scanner, etc.)
  • May require moderate standing, walking, bending, or stooping.
  • May require occasional lifting of up to 20lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
