Overview

Joby is searching for an experienced IT Internal Audit & SOX Manager to join our expanding Internal Audit team. Our team members are energetic and passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.In this role, you will play a key role in enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of Joby’s IT control environment. You will provide value-add advice in IT related areas and insights to support key IT initiatives and system enhancements. You should have a willingness to lead projects as well as participate as a member of the project team or individual contributor. The successful candidate will stay abreast of Joby’s operations and risks with Joby’s technologies and systems and apply industry best practices and standards. You will bring a willingness to innovate, flexibility, and strong work ethic to support and grow Joby’s Internal Audit function. This role offers a hyrbid schedule and is to be based out of one of Joby’s California locations in San Carlos, Santa Cruz, or Marina.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and directing the workstreams related to IT SOX compliance
• Lead IT framework documentation and testing of IT General Controls, IT Application Controls, Key Reports, and SOC1 Reports
• Provide technical support in the assessment, design, and implementation of ITGC requirements
• Lead IT control walkthroughs to identify risks, control gaps, and controls rationalization and optimization
• Evaluate control exceptions, recommend appropriate risk mitigation plans, and facilitate remediation actions to resolution
• Assist with managing consultants to complete IT Internal Audit and SOX activities on schedule and within budget and ensure that performed work supports conclusions drawn
• Serve as a contact for the external auditors and assist in coordinating IT SOX efforts between Internal Audit, stakeholders, and external audit
• Advise on SOX considerations and risks for process changes and system implementations
• Support IT internal audits or special projects

Required

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• One or more relevant professional certifications (CPA (or equivalent), CIA, CISA, CFA, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC)
• 5 years of progressive internal audit, IT SOX compliance, or external audit experience
• Familiarity testing IT SOX controls for SaaS financial applications, databases, ERPs, and internally developed systems
• Working knowledge of information technology best practices and control frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001 and COBIT

Desired

• Systems experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
• Relevant knowledge of PCI, SOC 1/2, GDPR, ISO 9001, ISO 27001
• Experience in aviation or technology industry
• Experience with using data analytics tools

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $82,600 - $160,100/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
