Maintenance Technician

Location : Fairfax, Vermont

Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire

Pay : 55K-65K

Hours : Monday -Thursday, 6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm

Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and you'll work closely with various departments to ensure smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform repairs following service calls.
• Coordinate equipment and building repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Collaborate with supervisors and department heads on mini-projects.
• Oversee major repairs and projects with the Production Supervisor.
• Follow up with suppliers and contractors to avoid delays.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety policies.
• Monitor and manage preventive maintenance programs.
• Record and prioritize service requests.
• Solve recurring issues and prevent product contamination.
• Suggest improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Train new personnel and ensure effective process improvements.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s in Electromechanical Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of food industry standards, GMP, and Quality Control.
