Seeking to hire a Maintenance Specialist for our client in Grand Forks, ND!

Weekly Pay!

29.00 per Hour

This role, based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, involves maintaining University Housing Buildings and Grounds

The ideal candidate should have hands on technical expertise, maintenance experience, and leadership skills.

Responsibility Level

Conducts repairs and services in specialized building systems with a focus on HVAC, Mechanical Systems, building maintenance, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.

Familiarity with Electrical and Electronic BAS, and similar equipment is advantageous.

Principal Duties

Maintain, repair, monitor, and adjust HVAC systems.

Perform general maintenance, custodial activities, and minor grounds keeping.

Provide direction and training to less experienced team members.

Plan, select, and lay out materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Work from drawings, schematics, blueprints, or verbal instructions.

Participate in oncall rotation for emergency situations.

Adhere to safety procedures, company policies, and standards.

Requirements

Two year technical degree or equivalent, plus 5 years of experience in Facility Maintenance.

Operating and troubleshooting skills for Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems.

Familiarity with Security Systems, including card readers, surveillance cameras, and electronic locking systems is a plus.

Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification required.

Working understanding of UPS and Generator systems.

Proven electrical system knowledge is advantageous.

Physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks, climb ladders, operate machinery, and lift heavy objects.

Willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to use a variety of tools or a man lift.

May require a valid driver’s license.

Team player committed to a quality work environment.

Must pass a thorough background check and subject interview.
