$75,000 - $80,000/yr
Requirements of position

• Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent Attention to Detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Accounting background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Strong Excel skills
• Insurance Agency/Broker accounting

Preferred Abilities:
1. Knowledge of Applied TAM or EPIC a plus!
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Five years or more of related experience work in accounting on the Broker/Agency Insurance industry in the absence of a related degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities of position

• Direct and Agency Billing
• Receipts for both direct and agency bill
• Reconciliations as needed
• Thorough Review of historical transactional data on client accounts to ensure accuracy of present billings
• Assist the Accounting Manager with the system of internal controls over accounting functions to minimize risk.
• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with all cash receipts.
• Assist with client financing
• Assist with AR and AP as needed
• Process all client financing forms with AEs to ensure accuracy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
