A global leading bank is seeking a highly skilled System Analyst with a financial background and Jack Henry and Associates (JHA) experience. The Core System Analyst will provide support for business and core applications while being a liaison between the Bank and key strategic solutions vendors, specifically the core system vendor, Jack Henry and Associates. Work collaboratively with all business units and end users across the organization to provide support/guidance on function, features and address support issues.

Job Details

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for system administration of the core banking system, including configuration, parameter changes, design and setup of core system in various applications (loans, deposits, GLs, etc.)
• Responsible for end user security for core applications.
• Communicate with appropriate personnel on release updates and new features.
• Communicate and work with Jack Henry to resolve issues on business applications. Request new features and implement new products.
• MIS reporting for the different business units as requested using Query or Cognos writing tools
• Support other business systems that interact with JHA SilverLake.

• Participates in disaster recovery testing. Involved in the evaluation, testing, planning, and implementation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for the organization's core banking solutions.
• Work closely with business units to address and promote efficient workflow, information integrity and ensure the department meets organizational goals.
• Provide Year End Reporting support
• Assist the SVP/Digital Banking/Central Operations Manager with projects as requested.

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree or higher preferred or related field or equivalent experience
• 3 years’ experience in banking operations – Strongly preferred
• Broad knowledge of retail and commercial banking operations including functions, products & services, regulations and security
• Experience with JHA SilverLake a plus

Requirements

• Understand basic banking principles
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Energetic and curious self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, organizational awareness and patience
• Proficient in prioritizing, multi-tasking and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes for multiple products and projects
