Job Details
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of new buildings as well as extensions or modifications to existing structures. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in structural engineering to contribute to high-profile projects and make a significant impact on our firm and the communities we help shape!
Responsibilities:
1. Design and analyze structural components and systems for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
2. Utilize advanced software tools such as Revit, RISA, ETABS, and other structural analysis software to create detailed structural designs.
3. Collaborate with architects and other engineering professionals to determine the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
4. Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress and ensure alignment with the design.
5. Prepare and present technical reports detailing the structural design process and solutions.
6. Respond to inquiries from clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building and bridge structures.
3. Proficiency in using structural analysis software such as Revit, RISA, and ETABS.
4. Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
7. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required
8. Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
