Salary $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Job DetailsSTAFF ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIILITIES
- Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and financial statements
- Account and bank reconciliations, GL reconciliations, and records miscellaneous deposits to GL
- Prepare trial balance and reconcile balance sheet
- Assist with month-end close, and month end journal entries and recurring entries
- Financial statement preparation
- Fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Work with auditors and assist with internal audits
- Maintain accounting records and ensure they are properly updated for efficient process flow
- Ensure invoices are properly entered (approximately 150 month) and maintain electronic copies of invoices and supporting documentation
- Maintain control over customers with supply chain financing agreements
- Assist with preparing inventory reports
- Work with AP/AR team to prepare list of proposed weekly payments, daily wire preparation and clearing disbursements, prepares and maintain custom ACH payments such as ACH., follow up on invoices needing approval, post receipts of customer invoice payments, proof A/R deposits to bank daily
- Monthly input of sales credits to customers and answer vendor or customer inquiries
- Assist Controller/CFO with additional projects/responsibilities as requested
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
- At least five years’ experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations
