We are a rapidly growing company backed by private equity investors, seeking a Mechanic / Shop Helper to join our team.

This organization maintains a fleet of sweepers, dump trucks, flatbed trucks, pickup trucks, trailers, attenuators, and various other support equipment.

The ideal Mechanic / Shop Helper has shown interest in this field and has went to tech school or has had related maintenance experience.

This is a 9-5 shift with some flexibility in scheduling; overtime as needed!

Job Details

Responsibilities :

• Assist in performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
• Help in completing work orders in a timely manner
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
• Help with other tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a mechanic shop preferred
• Basic knowledge of automotive and / or equipment repair
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
