A bit about us:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Tax Manager - Corporate to join our prestigious legal firm. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead, manage and drive strategic tax planning and compliance within the organization. You will work closely with the executive team and play a critical role in the financial management of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, with a focus on ASC 740, income tax, and tax provisions.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing tax strategies that align with our business objectives, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Lead and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns and ensure timely submission.
- Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
- Develop and implement tax strategies and policies that maximize business objectives.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits and inquiries by various taxation authorities.
- Research and analyze tax laws, regulations, and court rulings to ensure compliance.
- Provide expert tax planning and advice to the executive team and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax law and assess the potential impact on the organization.
- Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the legal industry.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in ASC 740, income tax, and tax provisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation.
