Job Details
Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance, training, and overall directional support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing strategies and goals, including production, design, quality, and supply chain.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce cycle times, increase productivity, and minimize waste.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in manufacturing processes, devising effective solutions to address them.
• Ensure manufacturability of new products through collaboration with product design teams and smooth transition from design to production.
• Advocate for and drive a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices throughout the organization.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain high product quality standards and resolve manufacturing-related quality issues.
• Create and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
• Foster a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and cultivating a safety-first culture among manufacturing personnel.
• Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• Minimum 7-10 years' experience as a manufacturing engineer.
• Strong understanding of fundamental design and problem-solving practices, including concept selection, proof of concept, and implementation.
• Ability to analyze raw manufacturing data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
