Job Details
Responsibilities:
Lead monthly and quarterly accounting close activities with precision and accuracy.
Analyze daily electronic banking statements cash activities, oversee system postings, and prepare manual journal entries to facilitate cash clearance/adjustments.
Evaluate vendor liabilities at month-end, generating accounting accruals, prepaid entries, and other GL manual entries as necessary.
Perform meticulous Balance Sheet account reconciliations for bank accounts, cash, prepaid items, liabilities, and other pertinent accounts.
Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency within the corporate accounting team.
Collaborate seamlessly in internal and external audit activities, ensuring prompt delivery of required documents.
Conduct monthly accounting analysis and analytics to provide insightful financial perspectives.
Work in tandem with FP&A and other business functions to ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial close tasks.
Contribute actively to special accounting projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
8 years of experience ideally in General Ledger Accounting.
MBA, CPA a plus
Big 4 background a plus
Demonstrate proficiency in U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
Embrace a collaborative approach as a team player, fostering effective partnerships with cross-functional colleagues.
Showcase proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel (including data pivot, lookup, summing formulas, etc.).
Possess preferred knowledge of SAP, though not mandatory.
