SUMMARY:
As our Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for our Power Electronics, Power Distribution, Energy Storage, and Battery Management Systems Programs.
MUST HAVES:
- PCB Design and Layout (Altium or PADS)
- MatLAB
- Ability to work up to 600 Volts DC
- BMS (Battery Management Systems)
- Security Clearance
- Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical systems including battery monitoring, AC/DC power converters, DC/DC power converters, precision sensors, analog circuit design and digital circuit design.
- Advanced knowledge of CAD software including PADS Logic, PADS Layout, MATLAB, PSPICE, PSIM, LTSpice
- Firmware experience a plus.
- Apply advanced principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals
- Advanced knowledge of standard concepts and practices such as worst case circuit stress analysis, design failure mode and effect analysis, mean time between failure analysis and thermal stress analysis.
- Must be willing to plan and accomplish long term goals with little day to day supervision.
- Ability to conceptualize a solution from a set of requirements.
- Temperament to work with voltages up to 600V.
- Ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and design standards.
- May lead and direct the work of others
- High degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
- 5 Years of Electrical Design Experience
- ITAR
