We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. This is a full-time position with 3 12-hour shifts, day shift.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
- Assess and triage patients based on their condition and urgency of care needed
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on their conditions and treatment options
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and new technologies
- Active RN license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work 3 12-hour shifts on day shift
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
