We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, rubber manufacturing industry, metal industry, and molded products. The role demands a deep understanding of welding, coating, and machining processes. Job Details
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
  • Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
  • Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements.
  • Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures.
  • Writing management and technical reports and customers’ charters.
  • Determining relevant quality associated training needs and delivering training.
  • Collating and analyzing performance data against defined parameters.
  • Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
  • Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks, often in a laboratory environment.
  • Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.
  • Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.
  • Directing objectives to maximize profitability.
  • Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information.
  • Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
  • Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, CQI, and other relevant quality control standards.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, rubber manufacturing industry, metal industry, and molded products.
  • Proficiency in welding, coating, and machining processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or similar certification is a plus.
