A bit about us:
We are a leading provider of construction and engineering services, specializing in projects for the US Navy. We are currently seeking experienced Construction Quality Control Managers to join our team.

As a Construction Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Working closely with Superintendents and Site Health & Safety Officers, you will help to maintain a safe and efficient work environment while delivering exceptional results for our client, the US Navy.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Oversight: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that construction activities meet or exceed NAVFAC NW standards and contractual requirements.
Compliance Management: Monitor compliance with project plans, specifications, and relevant regulatory agencies. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and non-conformance issues. Prepare comprehensive reports for submission to NAVFAC NW and other stakeholders.
Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to establish quality expectations and performance criteria. Conduct evaluations and assessments to ensure subcontractor compliance with project requirements.
Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability throughout the project team.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project quality and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Proactively address issues and challenges to maintain project schedule and budget objectives.
Client Relationship Management: Interface with NAVFAC NW representatives and other key stakeholders to address concerns, resolve issues, and provide regular updates on quality control activities and project progress.
Health & Safety Leadership: Work closely with Site Health & Safety Officers to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance. Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents/incidents on site.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality control management, with a proven track record of success on NAVFAC NW projects.
Thorough understanding of NAVFAC construction specifications, codes, and standards.
Certification in Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) required.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools for document control and quality assurance.
Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
