We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Psychiatric Recovery Counselor to join our team in the Medical industry. As a Recovery Counselor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to patients who are struggling with mental health issues. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to patients.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with patients to help them overcome their mental health struggles and develop coping strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their unique needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcome.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience working as a Recovery Counselor or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues and the recovery process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Must be licensed or certified as a counselor or therapist in the state of practice.
