We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a broad range of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of construction projects, from planning, coordinating, implementing to evaluating, ensuring that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budget parameters. This role requires a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of construction projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, progress, and cost tracking reports.
  • Oversee the development of subcontractor Statements of Objectives and Statements of Work.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in the bidding process, including preparing and reviewing bids and proposals.
  • Coordinate and manage project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and cost to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, and respond to project risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing all stages of construction projects, from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Excellent ability to prepare and review bids, submittals, and other project documents.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Professional Project Management (PMP) certification will be an added advantage.
