Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in concrete? Do you have a passion for construction and the desire to be part of a dynamic team?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are offering top dollar for a Permanent Estimator (Concrete) to join our team and work on local projects.

This role offers the chance to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Estimator (Concrete), you will be responsible for a number of tasks including :

1. Reviewing project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, including the quantities and types of materials required.

2. Preparing detailed cost estimates that include labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

3. Analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet project specifications.

4. Participating in project meetings and providing updates on cost estimates.

5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects during the design and construction process.

6. Identifying potential cost risks and providing solutions to mitigate them.

7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all estimates.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Permanent Estimator (Concrete) position, candidates must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, specifically with concrete.

2. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment, specifically related to concrete.

3. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.

4. Proficient in using estimating software and other industry-related technologies.

5. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents.

7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
