Job Details:
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Project Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of the development of the design, production of the construction documents and specifications. This role involves coordinating a project team, consulting with clients to determine their requirements, and converting these into sketch plans. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the entire process, from conceptualization to client integration, bringing together the different components of a project while ensuring that high-quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development.
2. Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
3. Design and document commercial and industrial building projects.
4. Coordinate with a team of architects and workers to complete projects on time and within budget.
5. Develop architecture in line with client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact.
6. Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections.
7. Compile project specifications.
8. Keep within budgets and timelines.
9. Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
10. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders regarding the project.
11. Follow architectural trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in project management.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
5. Familiarity with design project management.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
7. Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling software.
8. Excellent drawing skills, both conceptual and technical.
9. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
10. Strong communication and project management skills.
11. Ability to work with a team and lead a project.
12. Good understanding of the relationship between people, buildings and the wider environment.
13. A keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to see the bigger picture.
14. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
15. Valid license to practice architecture.
