Job Details
The Program Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Radiation Therapy Program’s Curriculum, including Health science, Radiation therapy patient care, and Radiation therapy physics.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree Preferred, Bachelors Required
  • ARRT Certification as a Radiation Therapist
  • Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising,
  • 2 years of full-time clinical experience as a general sonographer, cardiac sonographer, and/or vascular technologist
  • 1-year administrative experience in a medical imaging setting
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the self-study accreditation process and maintain compliance by providing all pertinent information to JRCDMS and CAAHEP
  • Management of staff including instructors, adjunct faculty, and clinical coordinators.
  • Attend seminars and meetings to keep abreast of current technology of industry and educational methodology.
  • Orient students to the didactic and clinical phases of the program
  • Chair of the Advisory Committee.
  • Create, revise, and implement various forms including program handbook, clinical handbook competency, and evaluation forms
