Are you a dynamic, customer-oriented professional with a passion for the insurance industry? We are looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our personal lines insurance clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their insurance needs are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and insurance products, and to contribute to our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring all client insurance requirements are met.
2. Providing exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and requests.
3. Reviewing and updating client information and insurance policies as needed.
4. Collaborating with the sales team to identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling.
5. Negotiating policy terms and rates with insurance carriers on behalf of clients.
6. Keeping up-to-date with changes in the insurance industry and informing clients of relevant changes that may affect their policies.
7. Resolving any client complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
8. Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Personal Lines Account Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
2. Proven experience in customer service, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
3. Experience with property and casualty insurance.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
6. Knowledge of current insurance industry trends and regulations.
7. A professional insurance designation (e.g., CIP, CRM, CAIB) is considered an asset.
8. Proficiency in using insurance software and digital tools.
9. A positive, client-focused attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
