We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in the engineering industry. As a Permanent Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production planning, supply chain, forecasting, and P&L aspects of our organization. This is a challenging and exciting role that requires a candidate with a proven track record of success in the engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans that ensure maximum efficiency and profitability
- Manage the supply chain to ensure that all materials and resources are available when needed
- Forecast demand and adjust production accordingly to meet customer needs
- Monitor and analyze P&L statements to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all projects are aligned with company goals and objectives
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience in operations management in the engineering industry
- Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain, forecasting, and P&L
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
