We are in search of a dynamic, seasoned Mechanical Project Manager to join our fast-growing construction team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a diverse range of mechanical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on construction, and a proven track record in project management. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on budgeting.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Project Manager, you will
- Oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and all other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed of project progress, changes, and updates.
- Ensure that all mechanical construction projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
- Review and approve project designs and deliverables, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
- Resolve any project-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular project reviews and create detailed reports for upper management.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical construction industry.
- Proven experience in project budgeting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
