- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of construction projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as SolidWorks for product development and finite element analysis.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the manufacturing engineering process, working closely with production teams to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Play a key role in the construction management process, working alongside site managers and contractors to ensure all mechanical systems are installed and functioning correctly.
- Continually assess the performance of mechanical systems, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements where necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to the design and development of mechanical systems.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all staff.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing engineering and project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes and principles.
- Proficient in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
