Job Details
Responsibilities:

• Engage in a variety of engineering tasks, including designing new products and enhancing existing ones within the Amada line of equipment and systems.
• Utilize deep expertise in engineering calculations to assess product efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to develop and implement Material Handling equipment solutions aimed at enhancing production quality, efficiency, and volume.
• Provide functional and technical support to Sales and Service Engineers, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate creativity and independent judgment in addressing engineering challenges, with a focus on problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and direct the work of others as needed, demonstrating leadership and mentorship qualities.
• Actively participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely completion of assignments with a high level of integrity and originality.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, reporting on project progress and seeking guidance on complex issues.

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Possess 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related area, demonstrating a track record of success and expertise in the field.
• Proficiency in materials knowledge, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and engineering calculations.
• Strong skills in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, enabling efficient design and modeling.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (1 to 3 times per month) for business purposes, including extended stays.
• Ability to work in varied conditions, including lifting objects weighing between 10-50 lbs on a daily basis, and performing physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing as required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
