We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Permanent Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our company's manufacturing processes forward. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about process improvement, lean manufacturing, and has a strong background in the Engineering industry. The individual will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing waste. Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, taking into consideration principles of lean manufacturing and Kaizen.
2. Use AutoCAD to design and modify equipment and manufacturing layouts.
3. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, and efficiency.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
5. Implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and throughput.
6. Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
7. Provide training and guidance to team members about equipment setup and operations.
8. Analyze manufacturing data and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
9. Keep abreast of current industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, preferably in a lean manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
4. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and Kaizen methodology.
5. Demonstrated ability to design and optimize manufacturing processes.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
10. Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
11. High level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
