We are on the hunt for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment by providing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of PLCs, electromechanical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Regularly inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify any issues, malfunctions, or breakdowns.

2. Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with machinery and equipment, using PLC programming knowledge.

4. Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including the cause of the problem, the solution implemented, and any recommendations for preventing future occurrences.

5. Ensure all machinery and equipment are compliant with safety regulations and guidelines.

6. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules.

7. Participate in ongoing training and development to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and safety regulations.

8. Provide emergency repairs quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

2. Proven experience with PLC troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.

3. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as safety regulations and procedures.

4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform the demands of the job, which may include lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

8. A professional certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.

9. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
