Job DetailsResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for
- Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and fix faults before they escalate into bigger issues.
- Performing routine maintenance work on machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment and systems.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Documenting processes and maintaining equipment logs accurately.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assisting in the development of maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
- Participating in educational opportunities and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
- Coordinating with the team to implement innovative solutions for improved productivity.
- Assisting in budget preparation and ensuring cost-effectiveness in all maintenance processes.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar role in the engineering industry.
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting various types of machinery and equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- A strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and be on call for emergencies.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform strenuous tasks.
