As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our machinery. This position is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to engage your skills in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and equipment diagnosis. You will play a critical role in maintaining our production line's efficiency, contributing directly to our company's success. Your knowledge of GMP, HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic systems will be put to the test in this challenging and rewarding position.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Mechanic, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they escalate.
2. Performing preventative maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
3. Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in machinery and equipment promptly and efficiently.
4. Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
5. Applying knowledge of HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
6. Troubleshooting issues with machinery and equipment, providing quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
7. Collaborating with other team members and sharing knowledge and skills to enhance the overall performance of the team.
8. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, including any changes or upgrades made to machinery or equipment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and equipment diagnosis.
3. Extensive knowledge of GMP, HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. High level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality at all times.
9. A relevant certification or diploma in a related field would be an advantage.
