Job Details
This role is onsite in Houston - NO remote candidates will be considered!
This leadership role involves managing a team of data scientists, guiding the development of machine learning models, and overseeing the deployment and maintenance of data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with proficiency in AWS and Dataiku, and the ability to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:

• MUST have Dataiku experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5-7 years) in developing and deploying ML models in a production environment.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with experience in managing and mentoring data scientists.
• Proficiency with Databricks and AWS services; certifications in Databricks and AWS preferred.
• Significant experience and deep understanding of Data IKU for model development, deployment, and maintenance; Data IKU certification highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience conducting exploratory data analysis and building statistical models.
• Expertise in developing machine learning algorithms and applying them to real-world problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with decision automation and developing scoring engines is a plus.
