Salary: $185,000 - $210,000 per year

Job DetailsOur law firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Attorney with a focus on Employment Litigation. This is a hybrid position that offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with our team of seasoned attorneys and provide legal counsel to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and respond to initial pleadings, discovery requests, and motions with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Present arguments and defend depositions in court.
- Provide expert advice on labor and employment law matters to our clients.
- Defend class action lawsuits and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and develop innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes and developments in employment law.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney.
- Proven experience in drafting, responding to initial pleadings, arguing motions, and defending depositions.
- Solid experience in labor and employment law.
- Experience in class action defense and PAGA matters.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
