Responsibilities :

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of HVAC systems. These include :

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation units.

2. Performing regular maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating parts, and checking system controls.

3. Identifying and fixing issues with HVAC systems, such as leaks or mechanical defects.

4. Installing and repairing chillers and other cooling systems.

5. Providing plumbing services as needed, such as fixing leaks or installing new pipes.

6. Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving complaints.

7. Keeping accurate records of all service work performed.

8. Ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.

Locations : Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, Long Island.

2. Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems.

3. Experience working with chillers and other cooling systems.

4. Basic plumbing skills.

5. Excellent problem-solving abilities.

6. Strong customer service skills.

7. The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

9. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

10. HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
