We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, designing & troubleshooting HVAC systems for our customers across the US & globally. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, capable of thinking on their feet and delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC engineering OR other mechanical/electrical design & engineering work.
Responsibilities
- Designing, installing, and commissioning new HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshooting and repairing faults in HVAC systems, using diagnostic tools and sound problem-solving techniques.
- Creating detailed HVAC system designs using CAD software, and producing accurate and comprehensive technical documents.
- Collaborating with other members of the engineering team to develop integrated solutions and improve overall project efficiency.
- Keeping up to date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, as well as environmental policies.
- Providing technical support and advice to clients and colleagues, and delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in HVAC engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in HVAC system design and installation, with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical design principles.
- Experience using CAD software for HVAC system drafting and design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and deliver effective solutions.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as environmental policies related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues and clients.
- The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
