Green energy IoT startup is hiring for a Distributed Systems Golang Engineer! They are utilizing crypto technology to drive growth of solar infrastructure. This approach includes a significant reinvestment strategy in solar facilities, fueled by carbon credit earnings.
This position is full-time, offering benefits and equity. Local remote okay. Must be located or able to relocate to San Francisco

Responsibilities:

• Create and improve APIs to enable efficient data access and use by other developers.
• Oversee and maintain Internet of Things (IoT) systems for optimal operation in various settings and server environments.
• Design robust technological solutions using knowledge of TCP, UDP, and basic principles of distributed systems.
• Implement public key cryptography, focusing on ECDSA, for secure message authorization.

Job Details
Requirements:

• BS in CS, Engineering, or equivalent
• 2 years of experience programming in Go to build distributed systems
• Strong understanding of TCP, UDP, and distributed systems architecture.
• API development experience
• Experience with IoT device and server fleet management
• Familiarity with Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) to create a digital signature in public key cryptography
• Ability to work collaboratively with backend developers and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Commitment to quality assurance, including user testing and adherence to web standards.
