Position - Founding Production Infrastructure Engineer
In this role you'll be working closely with the CTO to architect, maintain, and scale the infrastructure and services that power our platform. You should get excited about building fast and flexible infrastructure that can handle large volumes of realtime and historical data.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:

• Setting the Standard: Take charge of large segments of the infrastructure, shaping it to become the new standard for storing, processing, and indexing onchain data.
• Benchmark Excellence: Propel us to surpass every other benchmark in the industry. We're poised to publicly release benchmarks against other onchain data systems, and your contributions will prominently feature.
• Driving Business Outcomes: Performance is a pivotal differentiator. Every optimization you implement directly influences our ability to win customers and market share.

Our Tech Stack:

• Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform, ArgoCD, Pulumi
• Backend infrastructure crafted in Rust
• Utilization of Kafka, BigTable, Postgres, Snowflake/BigQuery
• Proficiency in Typescript and Next.js
• Hands-on experience with Solidity and Vyper

Desired Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Ambitious staff-level IC with 0-1 years of experience in building performant and scalable backend infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Proficient in managing large-scale cloud infrastructure deployments, particularly with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Interest in Onchain Data: Extensive experience in building distributed systems handling terabytes of data, coupled with deep familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Curiosity and Adaptability: Quick learning is essential. While expertise in every technology we utilize isn't mandatory, an eagerness to rapidly acquire deep technical knowledge in new domains is highly valued.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain impeccable standards in your work, ensuring clean code, Git hygiene, and clear communication, while remaining solution-oriented and low-ego.
