We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fiber Splicer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This position is integral to the successful delivery of our telecommunications projects, requiring expert knowledge in fiber optic network, fiber splicers, and optical terminal enclosure (OTE).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fiber optic infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities :
1. Perform fiber splicing operations, including fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, connectorization, and testing.
2. Maintain and troubleshoot fiber optic network, OTE, and optical line terminal (OLT).
3. Operate fiber muxes and fiber optic multiplexer to ensure optimal network performance.
4. Install, repair, and maintain fiber optic cables, both underground and aerial.
5. Read, interpret, and update fiber optic network schematics and documentation.
7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects.
8. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
10. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications :
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the telecommunications or construction industry as a fiber splicer.
2. Proficient knowledge of fiber optic network, OTE, OLT, and fiber muxes.
3. Experience with fiber optic multiplexer and other related equipment.
4. Strong understanding of fiber optic theory, transmission principles, and safety standards.
5. Ability to read and interpret fiber optic network schematics and documentation.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
9. Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
10. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
